Job Summary
Maintain a safe environment for customers and employees by performing general unarmed security duties, including routine foot patrols and observing hazards to correct or report them. Comply with Prosegur and client requirements while interacting professionally with clients, visitors, and the public. Participate in training to familiarize yourself with general safety procedures. This role requires standing or walking for long periods, moderate lifting, and working in all-weather elements. You must be able to walk or run flights of stairs daily and think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods. Work Monday through Sunday from 4:30pm to 12:45am.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- New York State Security License
- one (1) year of experience as a security officer
- valid Driver's License
- clean driving record
- reliable transportation
- good communications skills
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods
- Must be able to walk/run flights of stairs on a daily basis
- Ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods
- Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior
- Must be able to perform routine foot patrols
