Job Summary
Maintain a visible and professional presence to deter illegal activities and ensure the safety of personnel, visitors, and property. Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms while using communication skills to deescalate tense situations. Collaborate with law enforcement as needed and accurately document all incidents using company-approved forms. Inspect premises for security risks and hazards, reporting findings to appropriate personnel. Comply with all state regulations, including maintaining current unarmed security licensure in Georgia. This role requires the ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and function independently in high-pressure environments. Candidates must hold a valid Blue Card in Georgia (or eligibility) and possess strong interpersonal skills. Availability includes flexible hours covering days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Primary posts are located across Georgia.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Blue Card in the state of Georgia (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Must pass a background check
- Availability to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods (minimum of 1 hour)
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds
- Must be capable of functioning independently and remaining calm in high-pressure or intense situations
- Comply with all state regulations, including maintaining current unarmed security licensure in Georgia
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in high-stress environments while demonstrating professionalism and sound judgment
