Job Summary
Conduct parking lot patrols at a grocery store, maintaining a clean driving record and communicating clearly during emergencies. Detect alarm signals and sounds of persons in distress amidst background noise while walking, running, standing, climbing, or sitting as required. Lift up to 50 lbs waist high if needed and interpret written information under various circumstances. Work the 1000-2330 shift with reliable transportation and an active cell phone. Pass a drug screen and meet state licensing requirements for security guard work.
Required Qualifications
- at least 25 years of age
- valid Driver's License
- clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a drug screen

- ability to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency
- ability to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances
- ability to drive a motor vehicle in the course of his/her duties if required
- ability to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions
- ability to Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit
- ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required
- good mental health
- ability to make decisions instantly on the event of an emergency
- meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work
- ability to obtain the status of license required for the position, either Armed or Unarmed
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Full-Time position
- 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift, Weekends
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
