Job Summary
Unarmed Security Officer responsible for device checks, dock monitoring, metal-detection processes, visitor screening, and patrol duties to deter theft and ensure safety. Roles include monitoring dock doors, counting pallets, managing X-ray surveillance, and assisting in protecting high-value loads. Required qualifications include being 18+, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a Texas non-commissioned security license, along with strong customer service, report-writing, and surveillance experience. Must be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and pass a criminal background check and drug screen. Evening, overnight, and weekend availability preferred.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Non-commissioned security license through the state of Texas required
- Strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with report writing
- Monitoring and surveillance experience
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
