Job Summary
Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by performing general unarmed security duties, including routine foot patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift. Observe, correct, and report hazards while interacting with clients, visitors, and the public professionally. Comply with Prosegur and client requirements, specific post instructions, and safety procedures through participation in training. Respond to operator calls requesting shift coverage from little to no notice and cross-train in various locations to learn different SOPs and site instructions. This role requires significant physical activity, including walking, standing, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 25 pounds in all-weather conditions. Applicants must be able to work weekends and hold a High School Diploma.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Capable of following complex instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Must be able to work Weekends
- Must be able to perform routine foot patrols
- Must be able to moderate lifting
- Must be able to work in all-weather elements
- Must be able to cross-train in various locations for any coverage needed
- Learning different SOP's and specific site instructions
- Walk and stand for extended periods
- Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
