Job Summary
Oversee and monitor entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and individuals to maintain premises safety. Supervise inspection and tracking of inbound and outbound trucks, manage traffic flow, and enforce rules and regulations. Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of industrial or commercial premises to prevent hazards, theft, or infractions. Provide foot or motor vehicle escort services and monitor for irregular activity, implementing appropriate measures to address identified risks. Perform thorough investigations of incidents and prepare comprehensive reports. This role requires significant physical activity, including standing for up to 8 hours, walking up to 1–2 miles per shift, and climbing stairs or ramps. Applicants must possess at least 2 years of security experience, a high school diploma, and reliable transportation. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a security officer role
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Proficient computer skills
- Must possess reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to make clear decisions during crisis or high-stress periods
- Must be reliable, demonstrate a positive attitude, and uphold ethical behavior
- Must have at least 2 consecutive years of Security Exp
- Must work well with the public
- Must be able to stand on your feet for long periods up to 8 hrs
- Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift)
- Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
