Job Summary
Monitor alarms and electronic security systems, track employee time and attendance, and receive calls from interior guard posts. Respond to client requests, facilitate incident response efforts, and initiate notification and escalation procedures. Document significant incidents, perform primary analysis of operational procedures, and provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner. This role requires an active Unarmed Security License, CCTV experience, and Lenel on-guard alarm monitoring expertise. Full-time, 40-hour schedule with shifts including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available at the Port of Miami.
Required Qualifications
- CCTV experience
- demonstrated work history performing within this role
- active Unarmed Security License
- lenel on-guard alarm monitoring experience/access control
- at least 3 years of experience as a Security Officer
- at least 3 years of Customer Service experience
- at least 3 years of Front Desk experience
- Reliable Transportation
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to stand or walk for long periods
- ability to think clearly during crisis or high-stress periods
- High School Diploma
- D- License
- Unarmed Security License
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
