Unarmed Security Officer - Anchorage Tower - CP

Job Summary
Conduct routine patrols of assigned buildings, facilities, and grounds by foot, vehicle, or electronic monitoring to ensure personnel and property safety. Control access to client sites by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, and contractors. Inspect doors, windows, gates, and fences for security deficiencies, then observe, document, and report property damage, suspicious activity, and safety hazards. Respond to emergencies, alarms, medical incidents, and fires while providing emergency medical response including CPR, AED use, and basic first aid. Enforce company and client policies by directing individuals, addressing rule violations, and removing unauthorized persons. Operate and maintain camp billeting, visitor management, and electronic access control systems. Provide transportation services using standard passenger vehicles, buses, and off-road vehicles as required. Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years of full-time professional experience in security, law enforcement, or military service
- Relevant post-secondary education
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record for the past three (3) years
- Ability to obtain an Alaska Guard License prior to employment
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and contract-specific software
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining positive relationships with employees, customers, and clients
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make effective decisions with minimal supervision
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
- Must comply with all company and client safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
