Job Summary
Conduct routine and random security patrols on foot or by vehicle, monitoring CCTV, alarms, and access control systems while controlling entry and exit points. Observe, report, and deter theft, misconduct, and suspicious behavior, then respond to incidents and emergencies by notifying law enforcement as required. Prepare detailed written reports on incidents, accidents, and suspicious activity, and assist with basic first aid and emergency notifications. Greet, engage, and thank customers, guests, tenants, and associates to support the G.E.T. Principles, providing directions, troubleshooting concerns, and promoting a positive environment. Maintain a clean, professional, and orderly post area at all times.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- State Unarmed Security Guard License
- Pass applicable state licensing tests
- Verifiable work history
- One (1) year of security experience
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to operate radios, telephones, and monitoring equipment
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and good judgment
- Be personable, approachable, and capable of building rapport with the public
- Subject to drug screening, background check, and other pre-employment requirements
