Job Summary
Conduct routine security patrols, monitor surveillance and alarm systems, and control access points to maintain a safe environment. Observe and report suspicious activity, respond to incidents, and assist with basic first aid while preparing detailed written reports. Greet, engage, and thank customers to support the G.E.T. Principles, providing directions and troubleshooting concerns. Work Saturdays 6pm-11:30pm as part of a team serving government, corporate, and commercial clients nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- State Unarmed Security Guard License
- Pass applicable state licensing tests
- Verifiable work history
- One (1) year of security experience
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to operate radios, telephones, and monitoring equipment
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and good judgment
- Be personable, approachable, and capable of building rapport with the public
- Subject to drug screening, background check, and other pre-employment requirements
- Provide a DD214 upon offer of employment (if veteran)
- Must possess or be able to obtain a State Unarmed Security Guard License, if required by state or local law
- Must pass applicable state licensing tests if operating a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
