Job Summary
Conduct regular and random patrols of multiple premises while preventing and deterring crime. Report security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences and perform necessary control procedures. Operate emergency equipment, document nightly operations, file weekly reports, and investigate property breaches. Maintain a clean driving record and own a firearm to support these duties. Must be 25+ with an armed security license, a clean criminal background, and strong conflict resolution skills. This role supports IPSC's commitment to excellence in security services across Hayward, CA.
Required Qualifications
- 25+ years of age
- ARMED Security License
- Own firearm
- Clean driving record
- Clean criminal background
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency
- Ability to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle in the course of his/her duties if required
- Ability to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions
- Ability to Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required
- Must meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work
- Must be able to obtain the status of license required for the position, either Armed or Unarmed
