Job Summary
Unarmed Security Officer responsible for parking lot security and general safety at a Walmart facility across multiple environments (government, corporate, retail, fast food). Duties include continuous patrols of the parking area, incident reporting, customer interaction, monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, controlling access and egress, deterring misconduct, submitting incident reports, and using the facility’s time system. Requires maintaining professional appearance, adherence to safety protocols, and ability to communicate effectively with Walmart management and the public. Will participate in G.E.T. (Greet, Engage, Thank) duties and respond to emergencies as directed. Must comply with company security guidelines, wear a uniform, and operate related communications equipment. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pass a State licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
- Possess a State Licensed Unarmed Security Guard Card / License if required by state/city/locality
- Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state
- U.S. citizen or legally allowed to work in the United States
- Ability to operate radio or telephone equipment and/or consoles
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with the public
- Proactive, trustworthy, and able to follow safety protocols
- Ability to pass drug screening
- Prior security experience preferred (1 year strongly preferred)
