Job Summary
Unarmed Security Guard responsible for providing a visible security presence across government, corporate, retail, or commercial settings. Conduct foot and vehicle patrols, monitor CCTV and alarm systems, control entry/exit points, observe and deter theft and suspicious activity, and prepare detailed written reports. Respond to incidents and emergencies, assist with basic first aid, and liaison with local law enforcement. Supports SSC’s G.E.T. Principles (Greet, Engage, and Thank) to ensure a positive experience for customers, visitors, and staff.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must possess or be able to obtain a State Unarmed Security Guard License, if required by state or local law
- Must pass applicable state licensing tests if operating a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
- One (1) year of security experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow post orders and company procedures
- Proficient basic computer skills (e.g., report writing, Microsoft Office)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
