Job Summary
Provide visible security presence and maintain a safe environment across government, corporate, retail, or commercial settings. Conduct foot patrols, monitor CCTV/alarms, control entry/exit, observe and deter theft, report incidents, and respond to emergencies. Support SSC’s G.E.T. Principles—Greet, Engage, and Thank—while delivering professional customer service. Prepare detailed written reports; liaison with local law enforcement; assist with basic first aid and emergency notifications; maintain a clean, professional post area. Knowledge of post orders, licensing requirements, and state regulations is required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must possess or be able to obtain a State Unarmed Security Guard License, if required by state or local law
- Must pass applicable state licensing tests if operating a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
- Verifiable work history
- One (1) year of security experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to operate radios, telephones, and monitoring equipment
