Job Summary
Maintain a high visibility presence to protect people and property while performing random patrols and monitoring access in restricted areas. Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property, take accurate notes of unusual occurrences, and report detailed information on suspicious incidents. Demonstrate knowledge of safety procedures and perform first aid or CPR as needed, remaining alert in inclement weather. Maintain a licensed status through the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners and work flexible day, swing, or overnight shifts across New Orleans and Baton Rouge.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED equivalent
- 1 year Unarmed Security Guard experience
- Ability to stand up to 8 hours
- Convention security experience
- Proven work experience as an unarmed security guard or relevant position
- Trained unarmed security officer licensed through the Louisiana State Board of Private Security Examiners
- Excellent knowledge of public safety and unarmed security procedures and protocols
- Excellent customer service skills
- Surveillance skills and expert attention to detail
- Integrity and professionalism
- Typing and Computer skills
- Guard Card
