Job Summary
Patrol assigned grounds or buildings regularly, monitor surveillance cameras and crowds, and verify all doors, windows, and gates are secure on a rotating schedule. Establish and review identification required for entry, escort released employees off the property, and report any suspicious activity to local authorities. Secure the environment and person if criminal activity is suspected, then perform other related duties as assigned. Maintain strong observational skills and remain calm in high-pressure situations while exhibiting patience and attention to detail. Compensation begins at $20.00 DOE with flexible schedules and free bus passes available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds, and stand or sit for long periods
Desired Qualifications
- Security guard training certification
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Excellent observational skills
- Previous surveillance experience, preferably in a law enforcement environment
- Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations
- Patience
- Superb attention to detail
