Job Summary
Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and students. Patrol campus with an assigned security vehicle to ensure students, staff, and buildings are secured. Direct traffic flow and contact emergency responders as needed. Write reports of unusual activities and communicate with management. Maintain a valid driver's license and Maryland Security Guard Card. Requires five years of security experience, high school diploma, and reliable transportation. Flexible shift work available weekdays and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Applicant must provide a certified copy of Driver's License
- Must have a valid Driver's License
- Must have a valid Maryland Security Guard Card
- Seeking motivated individuals with a minimum of Five (5) years of Security Experience
- Must Be 23 years old and older
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- All applicants are subject to a Background Check and Drug Testing
- Applicants must have reliable transportation
- Basic writing and basic computer skills (Word and Excel) are required
Desired Qualifications
- Retired Law Enforcement Preferred
- Experienced Security Officer Preferred
- Minimum of Five (5) years of Customer Service experience preferred
