Job Summary
Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify safety concerns, monitor access points, verify IDs, and respond to alarms or emergencies per protocol. Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents while performing routine security tasks such as locking and unlocking doors. Assist visitors and employees professionally while enforcing site-specific post orders and ensuring compliance with client policies regarding smoking, loitering, and parking. This part-time weekend role requires Saturday and Sunday availability from 6am to 6pm and includes a background investigation and drug screen. The position offers hourly wages between $14.10 and $15.00.
Required Qualifications
- Valid ASRB License
- Valid driver's license from state of residence
- At least 18 years old
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Weekend availability
- Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations
- Basic computer skills; ability to use tablets for reporting
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Alabama Security Regulatory Board License, preferred
- Able to obtain any & all security certifications/licenses
- State Issued Driver's License (Not Expired)
- Saturday & Sunday (6am-6pm)
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience
- 2+ years of verifiable customer service experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
