Job Summary
Conduct walking patrols to identify and report safety concerns while monitoring access points, verifying IDs, and checking surveillance systems for threats. Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol, maintaining accurate logs of activities and performing routine tasks like locking and unlocking doors. Assist visitors and employees professionally while enforcing site-specific post orders and security protocols regarding smoking, loitering, and parking. Report daily activities using tablets and ensure compliance with client policies. Requires a valid security license, 1+ years of security/military/law enforcement experience, and 2+ years of customer service experience. Weekend availability (Sat-Sun, 7PM-7AM) with pay of $15.00/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Security Officer/Guard License as required by the state licensing authority
- At least 18 years old
- 1+ years of security/military/law enforcement experience
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Weekend availability
- Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations
- Basic computer skills; ability to use tablets for reporting
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security
- 2+ years of verifiable customer service experience
- Able to obtain any & all security certifications/licenses
- Stand/sit for at least 1 hour without break
- Walk a minimum of 1/2 mile without stopping
- Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stopping
- Sat-Sun (7PM-7AM)
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Tennessee Unarmed Security License preferred
- Prior Certified Law Enforcement Officer Preferred
- Prior Military Preferred
