Job Summary
Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns while monitoring access points, verifying IDs, and checking surveillance systems for threats. Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol, maintaining accurate logs of activities and performing routine security tasks like locking and unlocking doors. Assist visitors and employees professionally while enforcing site-specific post orders and ensuring compliance with client policies. This part-time 2nd shift role requires a valid state security license, driver's license, and ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs. Background investigation and drug screen are required for employment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid State Security License
- Valid driver's license
- Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards
- At least 18 years old
- Weekend availability
- Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to use tablets for reporting
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to obtain any & all security certifications/licenses
- Stand/sit for at least 1 hour without break
- Walk a minimum of 1/2 mile without stopping
- Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stopping
- Must be able to obtain a valid State Security License
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- 1+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience
- 2+ years of verifiable customer service experience
- Tennessee Unarmed Security License
