Job Summary
Security Officer responsible for providing customer service, controlling access, conducting patrols, monitoring security cameras, and responding to incidents to maintain a safe environment. Requires a High School diploma or GED, ability to obtain PERC, pass drug and background checks, English proficiency, and physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting 50+ lbs and patrolling in various conditions. Shifts include 3rd shift (Mon-Fri 2300-0700) and 2nd shift (Sat-Mon 1500-2300; Thu 1500-2300). Compensation starts at $18.00/hour with benefits and career-growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC)
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather
