Job Summary
Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by performing general unarmed security duties, including routine foot patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift. Observe, correct, and report any hazards while interacting with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner. Comply with Prosegur and client requirements, post instructions, and safety procedures through participation in mandatory training. This role requires significant physical activity, including walking and standing for extended periods, climbing stairs or ladders, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds in all-weather conditions. Applicants must hold a valid driver's license, NV Guard Card, and CPR/First Aid certification, with a clean driving record. Flexible scheduling is essential, requiring availability for six days a week across at least two different shifts, including weekends and on-call rotations with little to no notice.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean driving record
- Capable of following complex instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Must be available to work six days a week, on at least two different shifts
- Understand that you may be called into work with little or no notice
- Understand that as a flex, no regular schedule or advanced schedules are guaranteed
- Security License, Level I, Level II, Level III
- Must be able to perform routine foot patrols
- Must be able to moderate lifting
- Must be able to work in all-weather elements
- Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods
- Must be able to frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders
- Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- NV Guard Card (PILB)
- CPR/ First Aid Certification
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
