Job Summary
Conduct foot patrols in designated areas to deter criminal activities and enforce client policies. Monitor surveillance systems and alarms to detect and respond to potential security risks. Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, ensuring swift resolution. Adhere to post orders and prepare comprehensive reports detailing security incidents and daily activities. Support weekend operations with additional opportunities for open shifts, call-outs, and special events throughout the Portland metro area. Licensed Unarmed Guard: $20-22/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Strong conflict management skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in challenging situations
- Ability to work independently
- Good judgment
- Minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Professional appearance
- Dependable work ethic
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
Desired Qualifications
- Oregon DPSST Security license
- Prior security experience
- Prior law enforcement experience
