Job Summary
Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by performing general unarmed security duties, including patrols up to 1–2 miles per shift, responding to emergencies, and investigating disturbances. Interact professionally with clients, visitors, and the public while preparing written reports and logs in neat handwriting. Manage site operations by overseeing post orders, staffing, scheduling, payroll, and supervising a team of security officers. Utilize advanced computer skills for access control technology and adhere to all operating procedures. This role requires significant physical activity, including climbing stairs and lifting up to 25 pounds, with availability for all shifts at $26.00–$27.00.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available for ALL shifts
- 18+ years of age
- CA Security Guard Card
- Minimum 1 year security experience required
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Clean driving record and valid driver license
- Capable of following complex instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures

- Walk and stand for extended periods (including completing multiple rounds and patrols of up to 1–2 miles per shift)
- Frequently climb stairs, ramps, or ladders as required by site patrol routes
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Maintain alertness and situational awareness during all patrols
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Must be able to frequently prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Advanced computer skills to utilize innovative, access control technology at client-specific sites
- Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
- Respond to emergencies, investigate disturbances, and help ensure the safety and security of people and property
- Manage security services and related operations including preparation of post orders, staffing, scheduling, payroll, supervision and training at an assigned site
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of security officers, ensuring effective performance and adherence to protocols
- Interact with clients, visitors, employees, and the public in a professional manner
- This position will require you to be customer service oriented
