Job Summary
Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by performing general unarmed security duties, monitoring and controlling access points, and verifying identification for employees, visitors, and contractors. Conduct routine foot patrols, maintain accurate visitor logs, and observe or correct hazards while reporting them to supervisors. Comply with Prosegur and client requirements, including specific post instructions and safety procedures, while interacting with all stakeholders professionally. This role requires a valid Texas Non-Commissioned Level II Security License, open availability, and the ability to work in all-weather elements. The position operates on the 2nd shift with weekends included.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required
- MUST HAVE a Valid/Current State of Texas Non-Commissioned Level II Security License
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Capable of following complex instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Must have open availability
- Must be able to perform routine foot patrols
- Moderate lifting
- Work in all-weather elements
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
