Job Summary
Maintain a safe and secure environment by conducting routine foot patrols, monitoring and controlling access points, and verifying identification for employees, visitors, and contractors. Correct and report observed hazards while maintaining accurate visitor logs and complying with specific post instructions. Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public, demonstrating customer service orientation and effective communication skills. Perform moderate lifting and work in all-weather elements as an Unarmed Security Officer. This As Needed role offers 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift availability including weekends.
Required Qualifications
- 18+ years of age
- High School Diploma or GED required
- MUST HAVE a Valid/Current State of Texas Non-Commissioned Level II Security License
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Capable of following complex instructions
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Willingness to participate in the company's screening process, including drug screen and background investigation
- Knowledge of security operations and procedures
- Must have open availability
- Must be able to perform routine foot patrols
- Moderate lifting
- Work in all-weather elements
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift, Weekends
