Job Summary
UN Women Programme Specialist in Bangkok, Thailand, responsible for planning, monitoring and reporting across the ROAP portfolio. Provides technical assistance for planning, monitoring and reporting, ensures alignment of strategic notes/work plans with projects, leads data collection and six-monthly/annual reporting in PRISM, and supports capacity building for UN Women units and country offices. Requires a Master’s degree (or equivalent) in International Development, Gender, Human Rights or related Social Sciences, plus at least 5 years of international-level experience in planning, monitoring and reporting; strong written and oral communication skills in English; familiarity with RBM, IRRF indicators, donor reporting, and results-based management. Must be Thai national; location is Bangkok with on-site work expected.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in International Development, Gender, Human Rights or related Social Sciences
- A first-level university degree with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of advanced degree
- Project/programme management certification (PMP®, PRINCE2®, MSP®) would be an added advantage
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible international-level experience in planning, monitoring and reporting; experience in gender equality and women’s empowerment is an advantage
- Fluency in English; knowledge of another official UN language desirable
