Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist - Rotation

Performs all types of diagnostic ultrasound procedures and operates ultrasound equipment in a clinical setting. Works to scan and image depending on patient needs, follows established scanning policies, orders supplies, maintains linen stock, and schedules patients for procedures. Maintains and documents quality control checks, participates in QA studies, and keeps service records. Uses imaging modalities in comparison with angiography or surgical results to ensure quality assurance, and handles imaging exams and related setup with exposure to non-controlled medications. Emphasizes patient care and safety while collaborating with the team within a clinical environment.
