Job Summary
Perform ultrasonographic examinations in General, Vascular, and Breast categories while ensuring proper patient consent and documentation. Assist patients on and off tables, maintain aseptic standards, and verify ultrasonic imaging equipment operational condition per Quality Control procedures. Provide input on the expansion, growth, and introduction of new ultrasonography services and equipment. Complete the patient's record of documentation in a timely and accurate manner. This full-time, 40-hour position includes primarily day shifts with rotating evenings and Saturdays, with Sundays scheduled as needed for PTO coverage. Candidates must be ARDMS registered with BLS certification and demonstrate knowledge of diagnostic imaging equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Scanning experience in General, Vascular, and Breast
- ARDMS registered
- professional work experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Intermediate computer skills, including RIS systems
- demonstrated knowledge of Ultrasound operations and diagnostic imaging equipment
- ability to work independently and confidently, with minimal supervision
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with patients and other team members
- demonstrated commitment to a positive patient experience
- coverage in the AMI offices in Cape May Court House and Somers Point
- Coverage in Egg Harbor Township, Galloway, Local 54/Atlantic City as needed
- primarily day shift with evenings
- rotating Saturdays
- Sundays scheduled as needed for PTO coverage
- five (5) eight (8) hour shifts
- evening shift of 11:30am-8pm
- four (4) day work week
- two (2) 11.5 hour shifts
- two (2) 8.5 hour shifts
- full time, 40 hour per week position
