Ultrasound Technologist (Vascular)

Performs ultrasound exams for vascular imaging to aid in patient diagnosis. Prepares patients, positions them, and explains procedures to reduce pre-test anxiety. Obtains pertinent imaging and diagnostic reports, consults with referring physicians to determine appropriate studies, and sets up equipment to ensure timely, accurate results. Performs ultrasound procedures, differentiates artifacts from pathology, determines need for additional evaluations, and monitors patient condition during exams. Documents image details, labels studies, maintains records, and conducts routine calibration checks on ultrasound equipment. Collaborates with clinicians, ensures study appropriateness, and performs related administrative tasks as essential functions under ADA.
