Job Summary
Perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures for infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients under the direction of the Department Director and supervision of the Radiology Supervisor. Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, the public, and medical staff while participating in quality control and organizational improvement activities. Act as a clinical/technical resource for less experienced sonographers and participate in the call schedule to meet department staffing needs. Work full-time 8-hour day shifts at St. Joseph Hospital Eureka.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a program in diagnostic ultrasound approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association or equivalent education/experience or Completed equivalent training through self-study, on-the-job training, etc.
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
