Job Summary
Perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures for infants, children, adults, and geriatric patients under the direction of the Department Director and Radiology Supervisor. Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, the public, and medical staff while participating in quality control and organizational improvement activities. Act as a clinical and technical resource for less experienced sonographers and participate in call schedules to meet department staffing needs. Work full-time day shifts with a base pay range of $51.80 to $66.30.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a program in diagnostic ultrasound approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association or equivalent education/experience
- Completed equivalent training through self-study, on-the-job training, etc.
- National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
