Job Summary
Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations including general, obstetric, gynecologic, abdominal, vascular, and/or MSK and echocardiography depending on experience. Accurately capture, document, and record ultrasound images and preliminary findings while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and professionalism throughout procedures. Maintain ultrasound equipment and adhere to safety and infection control protocols. Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to contribute to accurate and timely diagnoses. Manage workflow efficiently while maintaining a high standard of care and accuracy. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Eligible for registration with the appropriate provincial regulatory body in Alberta
- Current professional certification with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS
- Strong technical and diagnostic skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
