Job Summary
Ultrasound Technologist responsible for performing a wide range of ultrasound imaging procedures in an ER environment, including abdominal, OB, and vascular scans. Requires ARDMS RDMS certification (Ab or OB preferred), one year of post-graduation ultrasound experience, and a valid driver’s license with BLS/CPR. The role emphasizes independent work within hospital settings, professional communication with patients and hospital staff, and maintaining equipment and work area cleanliness. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation
- Current ARDMS certification – RDMS (ideally in Ab or OB)
- Valid Driver’s License
- BLS/CPR Certification
- Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check
- Comfort level with general abdominal, general OB & general vascular scans/procedures
