Job Summary
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations for evaluation and treatment by the attending physician. Requires graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology program or Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with advanced training and certification in Ultrasonography; ARRT and/or ARDMS registration, with RVT registry; BLS. Role requires evenings, weekends, and holiday rotations at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital (Per Diem).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology Technology or Diagnostic Medical Sonography with advanced training and certification in Ultrasonography
- Registered with ARRT and/or ARDMS
- Additional registry as a Vascular Technologist (RVT) preferred/required
- BLS certification
- Evenings, weekends, and holiday rotations required
