Job Summary
Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer/Ultrasonographer) to perform ultrasound scanning and optimize examination potential, collect and communicate clinical information to the Radiologist, explain exams to patients and ensure proper patient preparation, collaborate with other technologists, participate in daily quality improvement, set up radiographic suites and manage supplies, administer contrast materials under radiologist supervision, monitor vital signs, assist with patient transfers, and handle related clerical duties (PACS image sending, archiving, and case editing) using VISTA; must be ARDMS-registered or registry-eligible, have at least 2 years of experience in a Level 1 hospital setting, and hold AHA BLS certification; English proficiency required; no sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- English language proficiency
- Registered or registry eligible in Sonography by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- minimum of two (2) years of work experience in the specialized modality in a Level 1 hospital setting
- Experience with Picture Archiving Communication System (PACS)
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
