Job Summary
Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures (abdominal, pelvic, gynecologic, small parts, Doppler) and interventional studies, providing high-quality images to radiologists/physicians. Role is 100% clinical and may involve procedures in O.R. and I.R. departments and hospital inpatient units; works within Hartford HealthCare network. Requires ARDMS/RDMS registration or eligible, and graduation from an accredited ultrasound program; strong communication and ongoing CE credits are required. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Registered or Registry eligible - ARDMS/RDMS
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program
- Excellent communication skills
- Maintain continuing education credits
