Job Summary
The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound exams (abdominal, pelvic, gynecologic, small parts, Doppler) and may perform interventional procedures across departments (O.R., I.R.) as needed; position is 100% clinical and supports radiologists and physicians with quality images for interpretation; requires ARDMS/RDMS registration or eligibility and graduation from an accredited ultrasound program; strong communication skills and commitment to continuing education are required; Hartford HealthCare network offers opportunities for career development with locations around Connecticut, including Hartford Hospital’s Level 1 Trauma Center and CESI; signing bonus up to $5,000 available for new hires.
Required Qualifications
- Registered or Registry eligible - ARDMS/RDMS
- Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Program
- Excellent communication skills
- Maintain continuing education credits
