Job Summary
Ultrasound Technologist – PRN position in Venice, FL (also serving Port Charlotte, FL) with Roshal Imaging Services. Primary responsibilities include performing a wide range of ultrasound imaging procedures in an ER environment, leading with empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients and hospital staff, maintaining equipment and area cleanliness, and contributing to operational success through effective communication. The role requires ARDMS RDMS certification (preferably Abdominal or OB), a minimum of 1 year post-graduation ultrasound experience, a valid driver’s license, BLS/CPR certification, independent work capability, and the ability to meet health and background screening requirements. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation
- Current ARDMS certification – RDMS (ideally in Ab or OB)
- Valid Driver’s License
- BLS/CPR Certification
- Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check
- Comfort level with general abdominal, general OB & general vascular scans/procedures.
