Job Summary
Ultrasound Technologist role performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures, including general abdominal, OB, and vascular scans, primarily in an ER environment. The position requires ARDMS/RDMS certification, a valid driver’s license, BLS/CPR, and the ability to work independently and communicate professionally with patients and hospital staff. Responsibilities include operating diagnostic equipment, maintaining a clean work area, and contributing to hospital workflows. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation
- Current ARDMS certification – RDMS (ideally in Ab or OB)
- Valid Driver’s License
- BLS/CPR Certification
- Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check
- Comfort level with general abdominal, general OB & general vascular scans/procedures.
