Job Summary
Ultrasound Technologist engaged as PRN in Miami, performing a wide range of ultrasound imaging procedures primarily in ER environments across hospital and free-standing facilities. Responsibilities include conducting abdominal, OB, and vascular scans, maintaining equipment and area cleanliness, communicating professionally with patients and hospital staff, and contributing to department success. Requires ARDMS RDMS certification (OB/Ab optimal), minimum 1 year post-graduation ultrasound experience, valid driver’s license, BLS/CPR, and ability to work independently. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation
- Current ARDMS certification – RDMS (ideally in Ab or OB)
- Valid Driver’s License
- BLS/CPR Certification
- Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check
- Comfort level with general abdominal, general OB & general vascular scans/procedures.
