Job Summary
Ultrasound Technologist - PRN position in Clermont, FL performing a wide range of ultrasound imaging procedures primarily in ER settings (hospital and free-standing). Requires ARDMS RDMS certification (OB/Ab preferred), minimum 1 year post-graduation ultrasound experience, valid driver’s license, BLS/CPR, ability to work independently, and health screenings. Responsibilities include conducting abdominal, OB, and vascular scans, maintaining equipment and area cleanliness, and professional communication with patients and hospital staff. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation
- Current ARDMS certification – RDMS (ideally in Ab or OB)
- Valid Driver’s License
- BLS/CPR Certification
- Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check
- Comfort level with general abdominal, general OB & general vascular scans/procedures.
