Job Summary
Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations and perform general and vascular scans to assess areas of concern. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly reporting malfunctions, while uploading completed studies to the online PACS system. Prepare clear technical impression reports summarizing findings and ensure accurate result reporting. Manage multiple patients efficiently while adapting to a fast-paced environment, working independently with minimal supervision. Travel up to 5 hours daily to cover areas including Longview, Texarkana, Sherman, Corsicana, and Nacogdoches, Texas. Full-time, permanent role on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 7:00am to 7:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Minimum of 1 year of scanning experience
- Ability to perform a variety of general and vascular examinations
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for prolonged periods
- Comfortable driving for extended stretches to various patient locations up to 200+ miles per day
- Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform under high-stress situations
- Flexibility to adapt to scheduling changes
- Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs
- Thursday, Friday, and Saturday 7:00am-7:00pm schedule
- Must be willing to travel 5 hours daily to cover other areas like Longview, Texarkana, Sherman, Corsicana, and Nacogdoches, Texas areas
Desired Qualifications
- ARDMS (Abdomen or Vascular) certification
- 2–3 years of scanning experience
- Comfortable writing a technical impression of each finding
