Job Summary
Perform specialized obstetric, fetal, and gynecologic diagnostic ultrasound examinations to detect fetal anomalies, evaluate anatomy, and support diagnosis. Prepare images and comprehensive reports; assist physicians in invasive procedures; conduct fetal monitoring tests; educate and communicate with patients and families in stressful settings; maintain adherence to ASRT Practice Standards and AIUM accreditation; demonstrate proficiency with Radiology/hospital systems, including ordering and tracking tests and imaging. Required to meet credentialing in ARRT/RDMS/ARDMS OB/GYN, NT certification within six months, and minimum of 2 years OB/GYN high-risk ultrasound experience; travel to off-site locations may be required. Required Qualifications
- AR/ARRT or RDMS OB/GYN certification (ARRT or RDMS/ARDMS OB/GYN)
- BLS for Healthcare Provider
- Graduate of an accredited radiology technology program (JRCERT) or equivalent with CAAHEP/JRCDMS in Sonography collaboration
- 2 years’ OB/GYN high-risk diagnostic ultrasound experience
- Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification within six months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- ARRT or RDMS OB/GYN certification
- Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification within six months of date of hire
- 2 years of OB/GYN high-risk diagnostic ultrasound experience
- Training Viewpoint Software (preferred)
- BS/BA in radiology or accredited sonography program (CAAHEP/JRCERT accreditation) preferred
- Fetal echocardiography experience strongly preferred
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or RDMS/ARDMS in OB/GYN
- Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider
- Ability to travel to off-site locations occasionally
