Job Summary
Perform all essential functions of a Registered Sonographer by evaluating sonographic examinations, obtaining clinical histories, and providing technical interpretations of sonographic and physiologic data to aid physicians in medical diagnoses. Conduct abdominal and OB/Gyn ultrasound examinations with clinical rotations, while preferred experience includes breast and vascular studies. Work onsite at Providence Valdez Medical Center in Valdez, Alaska, on a per diem day shift basis as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program
- Certification with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer within 1 year of hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- 9 months - Ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn including clinical rotation
- Located onsite at Providence Valdez Medical Center in Valdez, Alaska
- Per Diem schedule
- Day Shift
- Hours are as needed
