Job Summary
Perform all essential functions of a Registered Sonographer by conducting sonographic examinations, obtaining clinical histories, and performing physical assessments to determine testing protocols. Provide technical interpretations of sonographic and physiologic data to aid physicians in medical diagnoses. Requires graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program or ARDMS certification, with a focus on abdomen and OB/Gyn experience. This per diem, day shift role is onsite at Providence Imaging Center in Anchorage, AK, offering relocation assistance for eligible hires.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program or Certification with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 9 months Ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn including clinical rotation
- Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited Diagnostic Sonography Program or Certification with American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 9 months Ultrasound coursework experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn including clinical rotation
Desired Qualifications
