Job Summary
Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and assist physicians with related procedures. Access patient conditions and maintain ultrasound exam information while ensuring the unit remains in working order. Complete Basic Life Support training during orientation and maintain certification throughout employment. One year of experience preferred; ARDMS registration or registry eligibility required with vascular registry obtained within one year. Schedule is part-time with a sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in Ultrasound or equivalent as defined by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) registered or registry eligible
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) registered or registry eligible
- Must obtain Vascular registry within 1 year of hiring
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to patient care
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained through re-training for duration of employment
