Job Summary
Perform ultrasound imaging procedures for patients during overnight shifts from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am, Monday through Thursday. Maintain patient safety and comfort while operating complex diagnostic equipment, lifting patients, and navigating busy hospital rooms. Document patient care accurately on computers and communicate quickly with providers during emergencies. Maintain current certification with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers and hold Basic Life Support certification. Work 32 hours weekly as part of a team that supports professional growth and offers student loan assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Successful completion of one registry pertinent to the department beyond physics (options include OB, abdominal, neuro, breast, pediatric, and vascular)
- Health Services\BCLS - Basic life support (Certification for Healthcare Providers)
