Job Summary
Conduct ultrasound imaging services during overnight shifts at Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Operate diagnostic equipment with precision while documenting patient care, accessing information, and preparing medications. Transfer, ambulate, and assist patients; push and pull gurneys and portable equipment in crowded, busy rooms. Navigate environments with power cords on the floor while maintaining manual dexterity for complex tasks. Communicate verbally and listen accurately to patient needs, alarms, and issues, particularly during emergency situations. Requires ARDMS registry certification, BCLS, and ability to stand for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Successful completion of one registry pertinent to the department beyond physics (options include OB, abdominal, neuro, breast, pediatric, and vascular)
- Health Services\BCLS - Basic life support (Certification for Healthcare Providers)
