Job Summary
Conduct ultrasound imaging procedures for patients during overnight shifts from 10:00pm to 6:30pm, Monday through Thursday. Operate diagnostic equipment with precision while documenting patient care and communicating urgently with providers during emergencies. Transfer and ambulate patients, navigate crowded rooms, and manage supplies including heavy items. Maintain manual dexterity for complex equipment manipulation and extended standing. Register with ARDMS in a pertinent specialty such as OB, abdominal, or vascular, and hold current BCLS certification. Work part-time at Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, earning an entry rate of $38.77+ with overtime opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Successful completion of one registry pertinent to the department beyond physics (options include OB, abdominal, neuro, breast, pediatric, and vascular)
- Health Services\BCLS - Basic life support (Certification for Healthcare Providers)
